The online course consists of several theoretical video lectures and practical step-by-step video lessons from urban sketchers and illustrators Agnese Aljena and Masha Zurikova. They will show you how to create fill your first sketchbook with ink and watercolor drawings. They will make you believe that sketching is easy and that yes, you can draw! During this course we will discuss tone and color, you will be introduced to the concept of perspective. Agnese and Masha will show you the tools you need to start sketching and explain how to chose them. You will create four different sketches starting with the simplest and ending with complicated architectural composition. The course includes detailed instructions that will help you either begin sketching or get better by seeing sketching from a different perspective. The course includes four assignments. Everyone enrolled in the course will have to post their assignment into the closed Facebook group (link will be provided via e-mail). After completion of assignments everyone will receive detailed feedback from our instructors in three business day time after your submission. You will have one week to complete your works. All assignments submitter later than 29 October 2021 will not receive feedback. The Facebook group will be used to create the space for questions and support from fellow learners.
